Escape to Tappahannock this May for an unforgettable weekend adventure at the Wine Balloons and Tunes Festival, hosted at Wind Vineyards on May 16 and 17.
Whether you’re ready to soar high in a hot air balloon or simply marvel at their beauty from the ground, this festival offers something for everyone.
What to Expect
Friday evening kicks off the festival with thrilling tethered balloon rides that lift you 25–30 feet into the air, live music, kid-friendly activities, delectable food and drinks, a vendor fair, and even a ride in the epic Grape Crusher monster truck.
On Saturday, the excitement continues just after sunrise with chartered hot air balloon flights. Starting at 2 p.m., enjoy all your favorite Friday activities, plus the mesmerizing new GLOW exhibit at sunset.
The festivities will wrap up on Sunday morning with additional chartered flights for ticketholders to watch or join.

- Tethered Balloons: $20 per person, available on-site
